Thanks for the suggestion. Actually, that's kinda, sorta what I have been doing thus far. I have very small shallow saucers from a set of some sort of glass dishes that I inherited from my mom, and I use some short 1" pressed wood slats that came with the "just the right size" feeders that are employed to stabilize and reinforce the feeders. I use them to raise the saucers off the floor about an inch. It seems to work okay I guess, but the bowls and not really stable on the slats, I mean they can move around, and that is why I am looking for something like this, but professionally made for pets. If I can't find it, I guess I could continue to use the current set up. I've never thought of a
brick, maybe that would be more secure. I have to get hold of a brick and try it out to see if it fits Cassie and Muffin. I'm not sure if it would be too high, but it's worth trying.
