I'm so sorry - it is very hard to be here alone. I have many students who travel here to go to school and they are all alone - it is very difficult and I can't imagine doing it myself - going to another country, knowing no one.
You are very brave and you are lucky to have found such a wonderful friend. Our lives often take us on expected paths - use this to find your way on another path, not without your friend, because she will always be your friend - but without her constant support.
It is scarey - but you can do it!
