What happens if there is severe inclement weather while your gone and your house gets damaged where your dogs can get out and are out? The chances of getting them back with out a collar are pretty slim and if someone does scan them for a micro chip which they normally don't do when there is a disaster right away so it could take weeks to get your dog back when with a collar and tag you are more likely to get your dog back faster.
