I would wear the sneakers only if you planned on using them for serious walks while on vacation. If not wear a comfortable pair that you know you will wear on you trip. I also put the heavy stuff like the hair appliances in a roller carry on. I don't remember if you mentioned hair dryer most hotels have them nowadays. also check the web site on the weight restrictions for your checked baggage, some have lowered their max weights lately. Spirit is now at 40 lbs and Delta the last I checked was still 50 lbs so make sure to check and weigh your bag at home. I just got a new suitcase because the one I had been using had really heavy metal bars to support the rolling mechanism, I think the suitcase weighed almost 15 lbs empty! Have fun |
