Scary! It's kinda scary to think how many scammers there are out there. I replied to an ad on Oodle.com because this lady said she had two yorkies for FREE to good home. At first I didn't even want to reply because I knew it was a scam, but I did just to see what they would say back. I asked why they were giving them away for free and the reply back (to my JUNK email) was the same stuff you have all written, something about some guy in Nigeria, blah blah. I sure would hate to think what actually happens to people who do not realize they are getting scammed.
I am hopefully getting a puppy soon and I may have to send this woman a deposit. I have only spoken to her through email so far but she seems very sweet and all. But is there any way to verify her or something before I send this deposit? Any advise on that? |
