I know exactly what you mean! Before I bought my baby in Nov. I did a lot of looking on the internet. I wanted to buy a pup I could pick up and not have delievered. I found one in NJ. I am from PA so that is not a long way to travel. The ad was for a teacup female 4 months old. I emailed this person and she said the pup was still available and that she would send me info on how to pay for the pup. As soon as I got done reading that email another one came with all the info and the name of her accountant in which I was suppose to send the money to. I emailed her back and said that I wanted to pick the pup up in person, and if she was uncomfortable with me coming to her home we could meet at the airport that was so close to her. Well days went by and I heard nothing, then one day there was an email telling me the pup had been sold. Then she said about someone living in Nigeria that could not take care of her pups and was willing to let them go just for the price of shipping. I emailed her back and said do you think I am stupid, what kind of scam are you running? Well anyway I tried to email again and quess what? My email was returned. That just goes to show that you have to find a reputable breeder. Even on the internet you can find some great ones. Linda
