The first yorkie I had did the same thing. Its does'nt hurt them in any way it can itch and that is irritating that why she trys to rub it off. its no big deal, just give it time and it will absorb into her shin and it won't itch anymore. My new yorkie I have yet to see if she hates it she is only 10 weeks old and to young ofr flea meds, however I use it on my greta dane and get the same response. My sil is a vet and she told me it itches like a bug bite for about an hour. Hope that calms your fears. |
