I had to take Lil Maddie to the vet today. She wasn't acting like she was in discomfort, but once again, she didn't go poo for way over 24 hours. The last time she had gone was Tuesday morning. Even though she appeared to be fine and she was eating as usual, I decided it was time to take her. I was up all night worrying about her. Well, she's fine. The vet told me a little trick when I think she is way over due for potty time. Use a glass baby rectal thermometer and apply some KY jelly to it and gently insert (only the tinniest bit) and take it right out. She sure pooped and she didn't even seem to mind in the least. He took a fecal exam to make sure she was clear of parasites. She's all good!
