Maybe continue the probiotic for a week or two after the ABs are done... When Metronidazole stopped working on mine, the vet gave them a low dose Sulfa drug along with probiotics, which worked then I chose to continue the probiotics anyway... Mine used to get diarrhea twice a year in spring and fall... they haven't had it for a few years now... |
