My first trainer used the older methods it was haphazard with a pup mill rescue thankfully we consulted a behaviorist who connected us with a new trainer using newer methods of a different thinking,
I took Callie to Petsmart when she was a puppy for training and they did positive reinforcement and Callie picked up on everything so fast still does when learning tricks I could never imagine trying to do it another way especially sense yorkies can sometimes be hard headed . I prefer positive reinforcement.
