Childrens' illnesses are controlled better due to the compliance requirements (ie : must have vaccines to be in school) . We don't have that in animals. |
I think this may have been for me since I mentioned epidemics. What I said above was that I do
all the CORE vaccines
(which includes parvo and distmpr). I do not and would not give non-Core like lymes, lepto, kennel cough etcetera -- UNLESS it became epidemic to my area. Then, I'd have to consider non-Cores....depending on the facts available.
I think you misinterpreted me as implying that parvo and distmpr are "controlled", which I didn't.
