I keep both of my girls short. They are very active, love to play in the yard. We take them in the pool too, so it's easier to rinse the chlorine from short hair. Luna is cotton-coated AND hates to be brushed. I thought about growing Izzy's out, she is silky, and doesn't mind brushing too much. But she'd be full of hitchhikers from the grass on days when it's longer than normal. Plus they look cute
