I use Avon's Skin So Soft bath oil. I put a lil bit in his bath water and it's suppose to kill any fleas that is currently on him. Then you can use 5 pt water to 1 part oil in a spray pump. That will keep them off of him in between baths. I haven't had any issues with his scratching and his coat his beautifully shiny.
