Some days she can barely get outside, so we help her with a log carrier. It's like a sling around her mid section. With my husband and I being senior citizens, it's very hard to lift her. Everything that Coco is going through, we too are experiencing. I can only pray that Pepper's last days will be ones of comfort and peace. I've had to make the decision before, and it's something I wouldn't wish on anybody. You will know when it's time. In our home, we don't think it's time yet.
I am sorry that Pepper is having the same issues as Coco. It's so hard to watch them go through this especially since they were so full of life before. I know that Coco is ready she doesn't have much life in her eyes and she doesn't respond to touch at all anymore. She has been so well loved and I take comfort in knowing that we have given her so much happiness just as she has given it to us. I will pray for your family and Pepper.
