You will have to treat your yard. We are using a product called Over and Out as well as diatomaceous earth (food grade). The Over and Out says it is for ants but it works great for fleas, too. We recently bought the diatomaceous earth after my husband came inside from our back yard, which we had not treated with Over and Out, and was covered in fleas up to his knees. He put the DE out and the fleas are gone!! It can also be used in carpet, under furniture, under cushions, etc....Good luck! Since we didn't have a "real" winter the pests are horrible this summer.
