I'm so sorry about Ace. I know how you feel. I had a similar problem not with my dog but with my cat. She wasn't eating at all only drinking and she was hiding from us which cats generally do when they're sick. We took her to the vet near my home and this jerk and believe me he's a real jerk said she had a uti and he gave her an antibiotic. That night she got worse so we took her to the vet we used to use before we moved and she said that Punky had so much gases in her she couldn't even read the xrays and ultrasound. Well we found out she ate a pointsetta plant and if we hadn't caught it in time we would have lost her. She was in the hospital for a week. Long story short we started going back to our former vet. It's a distance away but worth the trip. |
