Again, regulating what and where people can sell things comes under the commerce clause of the constitution. Dealing with that is a whole other issue. We both know that the AKC is the best and the ruling registry in the USA. They have the money to obstruct legislation to regulate the humane treatment of animals. The other registries don't even bother because they know the AKC will do it. I have no issues with AKC accept to say that instead of simply obstructing every legislative effort to regulate this horrible industry they should help to construct legislation that will be meaningful enough to to stop the cruel treatment of animals and also protect proper breeding methods. They spend plenty of AKC dollars stopping legislation. Why not instead help create proper legislation? |
