Our little Graysee was the same way. After about 6 months, she grasped the concept of peeing outside, but it took over a full year before we could be sure that she hadn't left a little pile of poop somewhere. Her favorite place was on the wool rug under the dining room table!
That finally ended, also, and now she wouldn't go in the house unless she was left with no alternative, and she was ready to burst!
