They broke up Gracie's vaccines into two injections two weeks apart as she was so small. She didn't get her rabies until several weeks later. She wasn't sore or sick just a little sleepy after her first injection.
I hope your pup is feeling better soon. Maybe you can mention the reaction with your vet and ask them to divide the injections up next time?
