You know...if I were truly a reputable breeder, what the unscrupulous breeders were charging for their tiny, sick pups wouldn't drive my prices up. That wouldn't. have any impact on what it costs me to breed quality animals nd take care of my pups. If I'm asking 6,000+ because I can find people vulnerable enough to price gouge...then.....I would no longer be a reputable breeder. A reputable breeder will continue to do the reputable things....researching their lines, having healthy, good quality pups and selling them for a fair price. Bad breeders don't impact what great breeders have always done (and continue to do) . Bottom line...reputable breeders will never charge anywhere near 5,000+ for one of their "pet quality" dogs.
