Yes..1,200-1,500 sounds about right for a good quality pup from a reputable breeder. People who pay 5,000-6,000.00+ couldn't be regular Joe's and Jane's living the average life. They have to have some major bucks to drop. But us regular/average folk deserve to be able to buy and have a dog to love too. Besides, an intelligent person, thats in their right mind, isn't gonna drop 5,000+ on a dog anyway....even if they DO have the money. I would never pay such an outrageous price.....most people wouldn't and shouldn't.
