Sammy used to gag on his food and regurgitate it at times.......I had to give him canned food and he did better, but I was having to hand feed him very slowly. When he was at A&M the tech put water in it and he did just fine....I have done that since and he has not had any further issues.
Definitely an infection could cause that. I am glad that her xrays were fine!
