Hi! As you know, we got our little "Izzy" this week. Everything has been great! She's been sleeping all night in her crate and hasn't had an accident in there all night. And, she's been doing great going outside and "pottying." Only 2 accidents inside so far. My only concern is this: The breeder we got her from told us she was 12 weeks old and weighed 2 lbs. Said that she didn't expect her to be more than 4 lbs. Said the Mom weighed 6.5 lbs and the Dad weighed 4 lbs. Her papers state that she was born Oct 9, 2005. She was 1 of 6 puppies. The breeder had Izzy and 3 males left. All the males were at least 1 lb. larger than Izzy. I took her to the vet last night for a check-up (everything was great - clean bill of health!) but, he said based on her teeth, he did not agree with her age of 15 weeks based on the date she was born. He said she was only 12 weeks. She weighed 2.5 pounds last night. He also said he thought she would weigh under 10 lbs. I'm just wondering now if the breeder possibly lied to me about her age and the size she'll be. I love her regardless, but I would just like to know her actual birthday and actual age. Do any of you have any ideas or could you tell me how old your dog was at this age and how much they weigh now??? Just looking for some answers - Sorry this is sooo long! Ashley
