You are talking about employees who have a handbook and probably think they have NO say in the company policies. From what I understand about Macys they are a great company to work for and take care of their employees. Patti's situation may be one they have never come across before and they did not know how to handle it. Its too bad though.
Poor Patti, I wish she had someone to help her with Jack. That is such a heavy burden on her, although I'm sure she's all too happy to be his caretaker, there are basic needs she has. How terribly sad. I wish I was nearer to her, I'd be glad to help her out in any way possible. I really wish our country took care of the people who really need it more. Free assistance to those who truly need it and paid taxes their whole lives. I'm sure Patti could use 3-5 hours a week to HERSELF to do the things she needs to do.
