Im reposting this in a new thread because I had origiannly posted in an old thread I realized.... See one response below that a copied over too. Thanks!
We have had a Yorkshire Terrier for over 5 years now.
She has always had skin problems and ear infections. The skin problems included lesions and sometimes
sores on you her belly.
For years we have been trying to figure out what is causing
her conditions. We have always fed her Eukanuba Adult Small Breed with the picture of a Yorkie on it and for treats Eukanuba Healthy Extras
Adult Small Breed Treats. We don't believe in changing our dogs food all the time nor letting her have human food.
So we always fed her this dog food.
Over the years we have tried to figure out what is causing our dogs skin problems, trying different shampoos,
trying different dog treats. Thinking she is allergic to something in the back yard, so limiting her time outside.
we never thought it could be what she is eating!!!!!!
Well 2 months ago our local Petco didn't have your Small breed in stock so we didn't buy it.
The next time still not in stock, so didn't buy it.
So after BEING OFF this dog food for 2 months now her skin lesions and scabby sores are totally gone! And
she hasn't had an ear infection.
Eukanuba Adult Small Breed
formula is very unhealthy and we are pretty sure caused these conditions in our dog.

Eukanuba is such a well-known name and if they make a food specifically for your breed of dog, most people who don't really research will think that surely it is going to be the perfect food. What did you end up switching your yorkie to that cleared up her skin? |
