Yes, I agree...I would not wait for a urine test.

My vet has done many cystos on my pups when we cannot get a urine sample. They don't budge so I really don't think it hurts them at all. The first time she did one, I sat there cringing....I still don't like to watch, but I am not fearful of them any more.

Honestly this would be best anyway as the sample will be sterile and your vet can send it out for a culture and sensitivity which probably should be done.
