 Zachary Peed on My Leg
About a week after we got Zachary, I suspected he had a Urinary Tract Infection. I couldnt get a urine sample but my vet prescribed a antibiotic anyhow and the symptoms went away. Now, about a month later, he has started peeing a lot again (he is 5 mths old), pretty much wherever he is standing but he will use the pads if we take him to them. Then tonight, he was standing on the stool I put my legs up on and PEED ON MY LEG!
I can't figure out how to get a urine sample. He will be getting neutered in a few weeks so I will ask my vet to get a sample then when he is under the anesthetic.
I know how miserable catheters are and I don't want to put him through that so will wait.
Do kidney stones cause a dog to do this? I was nearly in shock when he just squatted and peed on my leg. Any ideas what else could cause this?
