In the several instances where I have actually found a dog running the street that had a collar on it, the tags that had the vet office, the phone number of the owner...those were the things that got the dog back the fastest....I had one overnight, and one I had 3 days, simply because the owner was on vacation, had allowed her dtr. to "watch" her little dog"....and she watched her run away!!!! So I am big on owners phone number being on the tag. And of course, I am a huge advocate for microchipping....good for you, having that done.(I do not personally indicate the dog is microchipped, just in case someone has stolen the dog, if they KNOW there is a microchip implanted, they MAY be real stuipid and not take the baby to the vet even if she ever needs it, for fear they will get caught!)
