i didn't think so much of it when i watch the first episode. it's growing on me more and more though. i just watched the finale episode where they overhauled the shelter - WOW - did that ever turn out nicely! i think that episode won me over. i was in tears for the vast majority of the show.

i agree for the most part it does skip a lot of the "training time" he must have to take on each dog to get them to respond so well, but i think the average viewer just wants to see the results. maybe if there only featured two dogs an episode you could see more. he does give lots of helpful tips along the way, i've learned a few tips.

you can really tell how much love he has for the dogs when you watch the episodes though. i really like that part. he bonds with them all so well.

i'm still a Caesar girl. but i do hope they pick up a second season of dogs in the city.
