Hey! Only Sue can ask me questions..j/k..here's my answer and then some...
The
name is Biewer Yorkshire Tierrer Ala Pom Pon. That's the iffy part I guess but what's plain as day is the standard. I focus on what a Biewer is supposed to look like not what it's name is..The 3 shepards I reference above are all Shepards of from the Herding Group. I consider Biewers another breed with the Yorkie name in the Toy group. I honestly believe if we all followed the route of the 3 Shepard breeds we could actually do the Biewer justice and keep it vibrant. Too many money hungry breeders that do not even know the history or the standard breed to their standard color yorkies end up with puppies that favor the Yorkie and call them Biewers..but they charge thousands of dollars. That's why I am so persistant in keeping the separate. Puppyfind.com is a perfect place to see how many are taking advantage the the the name has Yorkie in it..but the standards are opposite as far as color goes. Sorry for the extra 'fat' in the answer..I am just typing as I write.
