Not only are these stories disturbing but lately there has been a sharp rise in the number of police related dog deaths. People are having less respect for the life of animals. Check out pages like Justice for Bucky who was shot by police in his own home because the officer was "scared" of a 12 lb therapy dog! I fear that people will never stop viewing a dog as expendable. |
