I agree with the others: feed them a little less, lighten up on treats, and be sure they are getting the right balance of calories and protein. If Royal Canin makes a diet formula, try it. I have Graysee on the "safe weight" food by Blue Buffalo, as she tips the scales at over 11 pounds right now. Don't get alarmed, she is a VERY large Yorkie, and not really fat, just a little overweight. Her ideal weight would be 9-10 pounds. Honestly, even though I have paperwork that shows that her mom and pop were purebred Yorkies, I still have a tendency to doubt it, and feel that there may be some Silky Terrier in her ancestry somewhere, as she looks more Silky than Yorkie, at times.
