I always check through the food. Yes, there is cartilage and sometimes fat that I take out. Have never found bone. I have used Stella & Chewy's and Primal and some smaller companies. From what I have seen of Instinct it is pretty much like the others except it is not grass fed meat like others. I prefer to buy from companies that only use products that come from this country or Canada. I know some don't trust Instinct but I haven't read anything bad about it as yet.
