I have given some to a lot of people who have had problems with their pups' skin or allergies, and this shampoo does wonders. My original breeder recommended that I use it on my three little girls, and at the time, it was used by a lot of show breeders. It is made from cocoa butter and mink oil, and it's great for the skin and hair, and it smells great. It makes the hair really silky and soft. I buy it in the gallon size, and it's so dilutable that it lasts for years. This is what was quoted about the shampoo, and I would agree with their assessment:

The most important step when bathing a cat or dog for show or as a pet is to keep this coat and skin in the best condition. Cocoa Butter & Mink Oil Shampoo is the perfect product to do this. Dilute at a rate of 20 to 1 and your coats will never be in better condition. Even on long coats like Persians, Pomeranians, and Maine Coons, the Cocoa Butter & Mink Oil Shampoo will leave the coat in condition and clean with out any heavy residue. Conditioning is done without changing the texture so on wire coated and coarse coated breeds it is safe to use. Exhibitors, Groomers and Veterinarians have found that this product has eliminated many skin prroblems such as "hot spots" and excessive itching. Animals that have had "allergic" problems with other products have used Cocoa Butter & Mink Oil Shampoo with no reactions. On dark colored coats a shine will be left on the coad which will make your dog/cat stand out when being judged. Using Cocoa Butter & Mink Oil Shampoo, along with Jerob Black in Shampoo will produce the darkest coat with a healthy shine or impress the judges and your friends. This is the best shampoo to use all by its self on young kittens and puppies if needed.

I have recently tried Isle of Dogs No. 10 Primrose Shampoo, No. 51 Heavy Conditioner, No. 62 Evening Primrose Oil Conditioning Mist, and No. 63 Detangle Conditioning Mist.

I really like this line, and Kristin (Maximo) sells it in her new boutique. I will definitely buy it from Kristin from now on. She has great wooden pin brushes that are excellent for grooming and so many other great products in her new boutique.

I have also tried the Spectrum 10 Shampoo and Conditioner by Chris Christensen. I ordered some more products from them that I am also going to try, but this did leave the coat silky. They have some great trial size packs and also some promotions.

Lastly, I love Pek conditioner, which also makes the coat very silky. I haven't tried any of their other products, but I hear they are excellent.

Ok I am curious about the Jerob shampoo. Did you use the PEK conditioner and the Jerob shampoo? I love PEK. I have used some of their other products as well that I thought was fine. I have been using YSS with the PEK. I am interested in knowing more about the Jerob shampoo. Can you tell me what it smells like?
