To me it looks like the previous groomer clipped further up the head and thinned the area much more. Your new groomer is doing a visor cut and that is why you are getting the bangs. I would take that picture of him with the way the other groomer did it to your new groomer and ask her to do that. Tell her you don't like the visor cut because he ends up with hair in his eyes very quickly. He is such a handsome guy I would want those beautiful eyes showing, too.
I really don't care for the visor look either. My groomer does it on a lot of her Shih Tzu clients and it just looks unnatural to me. In the photo of his other duo you can tell that the fur is thinned and much shorter above his eyes. Very stylish. I don't think you can get the same look with scissors. It is done with electric clippers. |
