That's exactly what my old yorkie use to do too, just randomly hack an
"invisible hair ball" and then be done with it. I had her for 17 years and she did this all the time, not really daily just randomly here and there. This is why I wasn't too concerned when Pippa did it but then my vet said it wasn't normal and the fact that she was doing it each morning made me think twice. She never did it this morning so I'll see if she does tomorrow morning and then take her to the vet if she does. I have no problems having her treated with antibiotics I just didn't know if it was better to see if it heals on it's own(cause I read it can run it's course and be gone in a few weeks) rather then do possibly unnecessary antibiotics (didn't know if they can harm such small pups) but everyone seems to advise me to treat it ASAP so I will. Once again, I have to tell you guys...I'm loving this forum! |
