When I got nightblindness I started avoiding things like that & found the inability to see in the dark was like being virtually blind. I had to hug walls, etc., when outside, couldn't drive nights. Saw just fine in lighted areas or daylight. Of course with humans, it is fixable in many cases, as it was in mine. I now see perfectly in the dark. Can anything be done for dogs with PRA? Can you put LED lights along the stairs or where needed for guides if nothing can be done?
