Awww Nancy, you didn't give bad advice - you gave your best heart felt best advice with the experience you had at the time. We live and learn. I could hardly believe it myself, but Lollie sat in my lap and watched the fireworks display. She would look up and her ears would twich as the fireworks boomed, a bit duller in her sensitive ears due to the ear plugs.
I'm glad that you had a beautiful view and were able to spend the evening with those you love. Makes all the difference in the world - everything is better!
