I would took him. If it was to hot then I would have left. I use take my previous Yorkie Hiking. Easy 3-5 mile hikes. He would run/walk the whole way. never want to be carried. I use "caution" and don't over do it. But I like Yorkies because they like to run and can do it all day if thats what you do with them.Not jogging but your walking is there run
They can be couch potatoes as well but mine always wanted to go do something. Yorkies are perfect for the active person..but doesn't want to keep up with a Border collie
