I've been searching for a lawn spray that kills chiggers because two of my Yorkies are scratching themselves crazy. I found a natural spray. What I didn't know is that many animals (and humans) are allergic to cedar oil. Four of my five were throwing up. Since then I have learned that most natural sprays have cedar oil in them. Cinnamon oil and eucalyptus are also common ingredients used in natural sprays and may cause allergic reactions. I finally bought some spray from a high-end pet store that had been used by the employees themselves. So far so good.

A comment on flea preventatives. I was not aware that Revolution could cause neurological issues until one of my Yorkies developed whole body twitches. It's been 2 months now since I stopped applying Revolution and there has been a drastic change. I have switched to Advantage and Interceptor. The jury is still out.

Just seems like it's always a guessing game as to what to use. One pet might tolerate it and the next one won't. ~Joanne~
