Hi,

We were having an awful time with ticks here for the last 2 years. Not so much fleas though. I have used frontline on my dogs in the past. Although, I was never fond of the idea. The chemicals wig me out as much as the fleas and ticks.
I went in search of a natural product that was safe and effective. I found a spray for the dogs made by Vets Best. The dogs hated it. It has a strong smell of cloves. I then discovered that Vets Best makes a spray for the yard, that seems to be made from the same ingredients as the pet spray. We used that over our entire backyard. My hope was that if we treated the yard, I could avoid putting anything on the dogs.
I have to say, we have noticed a huge difference! I was pulling ticks off the dogs left and right. Finding ticks inside the house even, which really freaked me out!! But since applying this stuff about a month ago, I only found 1 tick in that time frame. Even while using frontline, I'd still find ticks on the dogs. We are going to re-apply to the yard this weekend.
