I don't need tiny kibble, but don't want a very large kibble either. How does the kibble size compare to TOTW or Fromm? I have tried all the Fromm 4-Star grain inclusive foods and the kibble sizes and shapes vary between each formula. I just don't want a huge kibble like the old fashion cheap dog foods (like Purina Dog Chow, Pedigree, etc.). I should probably try a small bag at first to see how it works out before getting a large bag. Maybe I could find someplace near me that has sample packs or trial packs I can try. |
I've gotten samples of the grain-free Acana and it is considerably larger than the grain-free Fromm.

If you look at that thread, Brit posted a couple pictures (post #30) of the Lamb/Apple Acana which is smaller than the grain-free varieties but still much larger than the Fromm. You could always go at some kibble with a rolling pin to break it down to size for your little one. Most of the small pet stores near me sell little sample bags of Acana for like $2.99 so it couldn't hurt to get one.
