Thanks so much for replying. Milly is doing well on Orijen. I think she found it a little hard to crunch them so the vet suggested we put a tiny bit of hot water on the kibble and let it soak for a few minutes so it becomes softer. This seems to have done the trick for her and she finishes her food real quick!

However since sunday morning she has had runny stools which turned to diarrhea since yesterday. We went to the vet this morning and the vet said she is perfectly fine and suspected it was the little bits of cheddar cheese we gave her saturday evening that caused the bad tummy! No more cheese for the little one again!!!!

I spoke to the vet this morning about feeding times and she recommended that she be fed every four hours or at least 3 meals a day until she is 6 months old as they stop growing around the 6-8 month mark. I've had three weeks off with her and going back to work next week is going to be tough...I was thinking I'll give her breakfast and leave her lunch before I leave so she can free feed when hungry and the dog sitter can give her another snack around 2.30pm...and I can give her her dinner around 6...I hope this will work and she will be ok! Oh how we worry about our little ones!
I was so pleased to find yorkietalk! So much great info
