I would like to comment on your last sentence. Of course we want health first above all things and good yorkie temperament is so easy to live with but we don't want to not care about a yorkie looking like a yorkie. Breeding to the standard is what breeding is about and I feel if you can't breed to better the breed then one should not breed at all.
