Even my yorkie (5 mos) doesn't eat a tremendous amount of food each day. I make sure she eats a.m. and p.m. though. Lucy poops & pees every day and she's very lively - so I know she's getting enough.

Just watch your baby closely. If she's nibbling at the food bowl and she poops/pees, then she'll be OK.

My breeder explained to me that you have to make sure she eats though. You don't want her to NOT eat. Little yorkies can get used to NOT EATING - especially when they come into a new environment. So try to watch her closely for a little while to make sure she goes to the bowl.

Also, watch her temperment. Yorkie puppies should want to play, eat and rest (don't be surprised if she sleeps a lot!!) If your baby becomes listless and doesn't want to play or eat at all, then I'd get her checked out.

Best wishes with your new baby!!
