I have wondered the very same thing myself - how did she ever get her own show? The only answer - there has to be a niche for her kind of food prep, I guess? I do have a sil that reminds me of Sandra - she never really cooks, it's all opening cans, frozen prepared meats, and an iceberg lettuce, carrots, and celery salad. It's always predictably bland. Never cared for the sil either, hmm... makes me wonder now, about the connection.
