Thanks everyone.

My neighbor lady said she would care for her, but leave her in her crate so she is familiar with her surroundings to some degree. I cannot bear to leave her in that crate 24/7.

I am so protective of this little living dust mop that I just don't trust her with anyone else.

So, my brother and his wife live two hours away, and they would be very much involved if my Mom gets ill again. They are huge dog people, and his wife would stay here to take care of lil bit.

At least I have a game plan now.
