3 weeks post op and Dee is doing really well!

Over the weekend she seemed to be not quite limping.. but not putting full weight on one of her back legs, and walking a little awkward. I got really worried but did some research and found a little limping here and there is normal. The next morning she was completely fine. She's walking normal i would say, albeit a little slow, a bit of stiffness right away in the morning but i can tell that's already improving from what it was pre-surgery.
Besides jumping off the couch once, she's had no other mishaps. Now that she can walk better i usually don't keep her on furniture. I also have both ends of the staircase blocked off by a 2ft. high piece of plywood (baby gates are too spendy!) so that way if i turn my back quick i don't worry about her going up or down. I don't think she would anyway. She hasn't even tried to jump up on furniture (but she rarely did anyway so i guess it's somewhat normal). Even the small step coming inside from the front door she thought about it but just waited for me to pick her up. I still keep her in a small pen at night and during the day but if i'm at my computer or doing some cleaning i'll let her walk around within the room at least.
Will update again soon!
