Actually, in some cases, surgery can do more harm than good. I believe that is what the vet was saying....there is some reason why she may have been doing well....my foster, Sammy, also has been through a lot and surgery would probably kill him. His is not considered operable...it could be that Cassie's will not be as well. Yes, I am sure the MRI will come up with some answers.
