Sadie an Lillie were older than Bentley when I had them spayed, Sadie was 3 yrs old and Lillie was 2 yrs old. My vet uses sevoflourine which is a very gentle anesthesia...they were under longer than Bentley, for one being females and they also had teeth cleanings...Sadie seemed to be fine although she was a little sleepy...It affected Lillie a little more though...(Lillie is a lb smaller than Sadie) Lillie was VERY groggy...like you would have expected...now Bentley.......He is ready to take on the world! LOL...You wouldn't know he had anything done at all!! From the time I picked him up he was a wild man! I don't think the x pen is going to work for me...His incision looks great, he just ate a good breakfast, and I gave him his pain med...although he doesn't seem to be in pain, drinking, peeing, pooping...He LOVES to run and play with his sisters...who run after him too.....I think I will take your suggestions and seperate them for a few days...we have a big bedroom...maybe I will block him in there for a few days.

thanks everybody for your suggestions
